Vinyl car stickers are the easiest and cheapest way to create an individual car style. Vinyl stickers used to be used in motorsport, for pasting rally cars. Nowadays, vinyl stickers are very popular among ordinary car enthusiasts, as they are an ideal tuning option. Vinyl stickers are much cheaper than airbrushing, while annoying stickers can be quickly and easily removed without damaging the car's paintwork. Please note that it is advisable to apply the sticker to an undamaged paintwork, otherwise it may come off along with the sticker.
Different types of vinyl films are used to make stickers. All these films are specially designed for use in transport. The simplest of these films are calendered. Their service life is 2-3 years. Cast films can last up to seven years. The base film can be transparent or colored. Currently, there are about nine dozen primary colors of vinyl films, in addition, the films can be glossy or matte. Vinyl film is a fairly durable material that is not afraid of exposure to temperatures and precipitation. If a problem has occurred and part of the sticker has deteriorated, you can easily replace only the damaged part of the sticker. Vinyl stickers are usually made individually, taking into account the size of the car.
Vinyl stickers can be applied to the hood of the car, doors, trunk, glass (front or rear) or on the roof. The pattern on the sticker can be made either in one color or in a full-color version. The drawings on the stickers can be very different. These can be abstract patterns or stylized images of animals, insects, dragons, flames, plant ornaments, and so on. The possible options are limited only by your imagination. Car windows and bumpers usually have stickers with the following words: it can be a slogan, a name, a logo, advertising information, etc. You can choose a drawing from the catalog or develop it yourself.
In addition to the standard sticker placements, you may be offered stickers on radiators and taillights, handles and moldings. Experts compare the application of vinyl stickers with the application of tinting film on car windows: the film is applied to a clean, grease-free and moist surface, smoothed with a spatula, and then dried with a hair dryer. For simple stickers, such an operation can be performed independently, but for pasting difficult places and for applying large drawings, it is better to contact professionals.
