What is thermal bonding on clothes?
A thermal adhesive is a ready—made print on a special film with a thermoactive adhesive. Under the influence of a temperature of 160-170 °C and pressure, the adhesive is activated, and the film is firmly bonded to the fabric. The result is a bright, durable print that can withstand up to 80-100 washing cycles without losing color.
Unlike DTF and sublimation, thermal adhesives can be made in small batches from a single copy. This makes the technology ideal for personalized T-shirts, gifts, sports uniforms, and clothing labeling.

Technical requirements for the layout
For high-quality thermal adhesive printing, the layout must meet the standards:
- Format: AI (Illustrator), CDR (CorelDRAW), PDF, PSD, SVG, TIFF
- Resolution: 300 dpi for raster graphics
- Color model: CMYK or RGB (with profile)
- Vector elements (text, logos): in curves
- Minimum line thickness: 0.5 pt
- Departures: not needed (thermal adhesive is cut along the contour)
