What is risography and how is it cheaper than offset?
Risography is screen printing on special equipment. One master film can withstand up to 4,000 impressions. In print runs of 500-10,000 pieces, it is 2-3 times cheaper than the figure and 1.5–2 times cheaper than the offset due to the lack of adjustment and minimal paint consumption.
From which print run is the risography beneficial?
From 500 pcs . In smaller editions, the figure or the risography are comparable in price. For 2,000-10,000 pieces, risography is noticeably more profitable.
What colors are available?
Black, blue, red, green, yellow, purple. Two—color printing (for example, black + red) is a budget alternative to full-color CMYK.
What is printed on the risograph?
Flyers (A6, A5, A4), flyers, strict reporting forms, announcements, school manuals, educational materials, questionnaires, cafe menus, event programs, campaign materials.
How much does it cost to print 1,000 A5 leaflets on a risograph?
From 720 rubles for a print run of 1,000 A5 pieces on a matte offset 80 g/m2, monochrome. The cost of installing the master film is 80-150 rubles per color (one-time per print run).
How long does the print run take?
The risograph gives you a print run directly from the video — 1,000 A5 pieces in 1-2 hours. Urgent circulation of up to 2,000 pieces — on the same day. Large print runs (5,000+) — on the next business day.
